Description
This seminar introduces a streamlined methodology for integrating artificial intelligence (AI) chatbots into policy modelling. The proposed framework, termed Artificial Intelligence Policy Modelling (AIPM), demonstrates how tools such as ChatGPT can systematically support the design, analysis, and simulation of socio-economic phenomena. The methodology begins with the manual development of a basic analytical prototype, which is subsequently enhanced through AI-assisted evaluation and modelling. AIPM transforms policy modelling from a predominantly theoretical exercise into a practical, interactive, and dynamically adaptive approach. By enabling the creation, assessment, and simulation of socio-economic problems using AI-generated images, videos, and analytical explanations, AIPM accelerates understanding and supports the identification of feasible and efficient policy solutions. This approach is applicable across all major fields of economics, including microeconomics, macroeconomics, development economics, economic thought, finance, banking, management, and business economics.
