Who is the controller of personal data?
The data controller for the provided personal data will be VIZJA University (“UV”) in Warsaw (01‑043) at ul. Okopowa 59, e-mail address: zgloszenia@vizja.pl.
What is the purpose and legal basis for processing personal data?
Personal data shall be processed for:
- recruitment of participants for the seminar “The Application of ChatGPT in Policy Modelling” (the “Seminar”) organized by VIZJA University on 2 December 2025,
- informational purposes related to UV’s other educational and scientific initiatives (e.g., newsletter),
As part of the provided consent, pursuant to Article 6(1)(a) of the Regulation.
Is sharing personal data mandatory?
Providing personal data is voluntary, but necessary to take part in the seminar.
What are the categories of recipients?
The anticipated categories of recipients of the data are employees of the relevant departments of VIZJA University authorized by the Data Controller and other entities authorized by law. Personal data may be transferred to entities that VIZJA University collaborates with in the course of its activities, as well as to providers of postal, courier, accounting, legal or IT services.
What are my rights as a data subject?
You have the right to access the content of your data and the ability to obtain a copy of your data, as well as the right to correct, delete, request restriction of processing, object to processing, and the right to data portability and withdraw consent at any time. Consent can be withdrawn in writing or electronically sent to the Data Controller.
Can I file a complaint about data processing and where?
You have the right to file a complaint regarding data processing with the supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the provisions of the European Parliament and Council Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons in relation to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, as well as repealing Directive 95/46/EC (the General Data Protection Regulation) (“Regulation”).
How long will my data be processed and stored?
Personal data processed and stored until the above-mentioned purposes are fulfilled, after which time it may be processed and stored for the period of limitation of possible claims.
Will the data be processed by automated means?
Within the processing described above no automated decision‑making will take place and your data will not be profiled. Additionally, this data will not be transferred to entities outside the European Economic Area (EEA) or to international organizations.
